Roger K. Horn

Roger K. Horn is director of Global Fixed Income for MacKay Shields LLC. He joined MacKay Shields in September 2012 as director and senior analyst in Global Fixed Income.  Prior to joining MacKay, Horn was head of Credit Sector Research for the Americas at SG Americas Securities, the broker-dealer subsidiary of Société Générale.  Previously, he was head of Research at Assured Guaranty and head of International Credit Research at Financial Security Assurance.  Horn has over 20 years of experience in assessing corporate credits in both advanced economies and emerging markets, including five years based in London covering Europe and Asia.  Earlier in his career he was a credit analyst at Banque Nationale de Paris and NatWest Markets.   Horn received a BS in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.  He is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts and the CFA Society of Philadelphia.  Horn has been in the financial services industry since 1988.
