Delores Miller, CFA

Dolores (Lori) Miller, CFA is Managing Director, Head of Operational Risk for AIG Investments, Treasury, and Finance.  Lori is responsible for executing the Operational Risk framework which includes RCSAs, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), risk deep dives and other risk assessment, risk reporting including Top Operational Risks, and governance e.g, the OpRisk and Model Risk Committees.  Lori’s responsibilities also include Technology Risk, Business Continuity, and Model Risk Management.  Lori works to promote a proactive risk culture with a focus on process improvement, new business review, risk events root cause analysis and reporting, and model validation for effective management of risk associated with AIG models.

Prior to joining AIG, Lori was Head of Client & Operational Risk for Deutsche Bank GTB Americas with responsibility for the development and implementation of methodologies, processes, and tools to measure, report, and mitigate key operational risks and emerging risk.  Prior to Deutsche Bank, Lori was the Credit Suisse Americas Head of OpRisk for the Investment Bank, and Bank Operational Risk Oversight.  Before her Operational Risk roles, Lori was Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at AMBAC; head of Taxable Fixed-Income Portfolio Management and Head of Fixed-Income Trading at American Express; and was a private placement portfolio manager with AIG.  Lori has her MBA in Finance and her BSBA in Finance from The Ohio State University, and is a CFA.
