Jason Bond
Jason Bond joined the FASB as a practice fellow in July 2017. In this role, Jason focuses on revenue recognition matters, the potential effects of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on accounting standards, and cloud computing arrangements. Prior to his fellowship, Jason was a senior manager in EY’s Department of Professional Practice in New York City, where he specialized in revenue recognition and financial instrument accounting matters. He was responsible for developing the firm’s interpretive guidance, interacting with standard setters, and advising clients and engagement teams throughout the Americas Practice. Previously, Jason worked in EY’s New York assurance practice, focusing on audits of public asset managers and real estate companies. Jason graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a master’s degree in accountancy. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed certified public accountant in New York and Utah.
