Investment managers who know how to adopt these new technologies may have an edge; fundamental analysts and PMs may evolve to quantamental. Quants will rely more on an AI-based modeling to incorporate qualitative factors. Nonetheless, with innovation there can be potential setbacks; some data will have no value and complex computing techniques won’t always produce better results.
