Overview

A two-day virtual conference, Presented by Cognitir

A recent Wall Street Journal article highlighted product manager as the new dream job for MBA students. A product manager is the conductor of the orchestra. He/she works cross-functionallywith engineering and design to identify new products to build as well as what features to add and remove from existing ones. Product managers interface a great deal with customers to try to understand their needs with the aim of building things that they actually want.

Product management sits at the intersection of business, design, and technology. As such, successful PMs need to learn a variety of skills ranging from wireframing to data analytics. In this course, participants will be exposed to key product management topics, including A/B testing, wireframing, and leading user interviews. The class includes an in-class project where participants will build an MVP for a business idea that they have.

Attendees can use either a Mac or Windows computer for this workshop.

This training is often taught together with Introduction to Web Development in a two-day workshop since both classes complement each other. Attendees usually take Introduction to Product Management on the second day.
