Overview

Please join us for the Collaborative WIM quarterly book club event, hosted by CFA Society Orange County. Come prepared to chat in breakout sessions with your peers and participate in a live Q&A with Vikram Mansharamani.

Collaborative Women in Investment Management (WIM) is a global initiative comprised of CFA Societies, FPA Chapters and industry groups who have joined efforts to further our shared vision of inclusion and diversity in capitalism. Our collaboration includes ~80 supporting organizations across the US, Canada, Caribbean, EMEA and Latin America to demonstrate the commitment of the global finance community to inclusion and diversity, and to support the advancement and development of female leaders of all backgrounds.

Have you ever followed your GPS device to a deserted parking lot? Or unquestioningly followed the advice of an expert—perhaps a doctor or financial adviser—only to learn later that your own thoughts and doubts were correct?

As Vikram Mansharamani shows in this eye-opening and perspective-shifting book, our complex, data-flooded world has made us ever more reliant on experts, protocols, and technology. Too often, we’ve stopped thinking for ourselves. Think for Yourself is an indispensable guide for those looking to restore self-reliant thinking in a data-driven and technology-dependent yet overwhelmingly uncertain world.
