Overview

As the world is gripped by the COVID-19 crisis, innovations in the genomics and biotech space continue to press ahead. In fact, the speed and cost of DNA sequencing has improved in such a way that scientists were able to sequence the virus behind COVID-19 in a matter of days, compared to the months it took to do the same for SARS. Furthermore, various innovative biotech companies are experimenting with unconventional treatments that could offer promise in treating and preventing the spread of this disease.

Join us for a webinar on June 3, 2020 as CFA Society Boston hosts Cathie Wood, CEO, CIO and founder of ARK Invest, along with Simon Barnett and Ali Urman, ARK’s Genomic Revolution Analysts. We’ll explore the current genomics landscape, the various non-conventional treatment methods that are being developed, and the implications of these innovations beyond the immediate need to defeat COVID-19.
